Arkstudio designed this hotel in Portugal using natural, local materials and crafts typical from Alentejo, to provide the guest a unique experience associated with the beauty and tranquility of the Alentejo’s landscape. These were combined with decorative pieces from diverse places to create an eclectic, calm and pluralistic atmosphere.

Casas Caiadas, Portugal

 In 2015, a Lisbon couple embark on a real estate adventure by buying a plot of happiness consisting of four ruined mills surrounded by fields of olive trees and wildflowers, in the small rural municipality of Arraiolos located a few Kilometers north of the city of Évora in Portugal.
With the help of the architect Luís Pereira Miguel, they recovered the buildings by applying the traditional Portuguese techniques, preserving as much as possible the original architecture of the old mills.

Ligia Casanova's beautiful house in Lisbon

This beautiful modern house is located in the center of Lisbon and belongs to the interior designer Ligia Casanova. Initially, the interior was created on the contrast between white and sand colors, providing a fresh and light atmosphere. But after a few years the designer decided to change the color of furniture and flooring to light gray, and some walls were painted in dark colors for contrast. Gray color palette brings a sense of comfort and tranquility!
